High Point Fire District responded to a report of a woods fire on White Plains Church Rd. near High Point Church Rd. Brush 13 arrived on the scene to find an approximately 200 square foot area of fire in the woods. A hose line from Brush 13 was deployed to extinguish the flames. Firefighters utilized wildland rakes to create a fire break around the affected area to prevent further spread. The cause of the fire is currently undetermined.
