Building and Vehicle Fire

High Point Fire and auto aid partners Pageland Fire and Sandhills Fire responded to a report of a structure fire on Pine Grove Rd.
Upon arrival, High Point Engine 51 found a storage building, a car, and tires burning, with the fire threatening additional vehicles and a nearby home. Firefighters deployed a hose line from Engine 51 to attack the fire.
Grass Fire at Walmart

High Point Fire District responded to reports of a grass and brush fire at the Walmart Distribution facility on Dove Sutton Road. Engines 11 and 31 arrived on scene to find a wind-driven fire threatening multiple trailers and producing heavy smoke that reduced visibility on Highway 601.
Vehicle Crash with Entrapment

High Point Fire District, Pageland Rescue, and Lifeguard EMS responded to a reported two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Airport Road and Hatchery Road. High Point Engines 51 and 21 arrived on scene and found a collision involving a car and a pickup truck.
Grass & Structure Fires

High Point Fire District’s first response of the new year was to a reported woods fire on Mt. Harmon Circle. Upon arrival, Engine 31 found grass, brush, woods, and a storage building burning, with fire extending to an adjacent home.
Due to the size and severity of the incident, the call was immediately upgraded to a full structure fire response, prompting automatic mutual aid from Pageland Fire Department and Sandhills Fire Department.
