Vehicle Crash - Hwy 151

High Point Fire, Pageland Rescue, and Lifeguard EMS responded to a vehicle crash at the intersection of Hwy 601 North and Dove Sutton Rd. Responders arrived to find two cars involved in a rear end collision in the inside south bound lane.
Pageland Rescue 1 took up a blocking position north of the crash to provide a safe area for responders and began checking for injuries. High Point Engine 11 arrived and took up a blocking position north of the crash closing both south bound lanes.
Firefighters set up traffic cones to divert traffic into the turn lane and around the crash. Oil dry was used to control and clean up fluid spills. Once it was determined that there were no injuries Rescue and EMS cleared the scene. Firefighters were then able to open one south bound lane until the cars could be removed.
