Volunteers from High Point Fire District responded to a request from law enforcement to address a fallen tree obstructing White Store Rd. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a large tree blocking the road entirely. Over the course of 2 hours, firefighters utilized chainsaws to section the tree into manageable pieces for removal, clearing the roadway in time for morning traffic.
