Structure Fire - Crowburk Rd.

High Point, Pageland, Sandhill, and Lanes Creek Fire Departments responded to a structure fire on Crowburk Rd. Pageland Engine 2 and High Point Engine 51 were first on the scene, encountering a fully involved outbuilding with fire spreading to the siding and attic of the neighboring house.
Engine 2 initiated fire suppression on the burning home while Engine 51 focused on establishing water supply. Additional units and personnel joined the efforts, supporting with a second hose line to successfully extinguish the fires in both the house and outbuilding.
The investigation determined that wind-blown embers from a nearby rubbish fire were the cause of the incident. All responding departments demonstrated effective coordination and swift action, resulting in the containment of the situation.
