Roll Over Crash

Intersection of Landsford and Austin Rd.

High Point Fire, Pageland Rescue, and Lifeguard EMS were dispatched to the intersection of Landsford Rd. and Austin Rd. following reports of a vehicle crash with possible entrapment and one vehicle on fire. Upon arrival, a High Point firefighter observed that all occupants were out of the vehicles, and there was no fire present; steam from ruptured radiators may have been mistaken for smoke.

Pageland Rescue 1 and Lifeguard EMS arrived shortly after and began assessing and treating the patients involved in the crash. High Point Engines 11 and 51 took blocking positions on Landsford Rd. to establish a safe working area for responders. Lifeguard EMS transported one patient with non-life-threatening injuries to a nearby medical facility.

Fire and rescue personnel worked to clear debris from the roadway, facilitating traffic flow until tow trucks arrived to completely clear the scene. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
