The volunteers at High Point Fire District were actively engaged in training sessions during the month of May. On Monday, May 6, firefighters practiced vehicle stabilization and extrication at Carolina Scrap. Continuing their training efforts, on Monday, May 20, firefighters focused on fire attack and water supply training at an old house located on Lester Hicks Circle. The month concluded with a training session on May 27, where firefighters gathered at Station 1 to practice forcible entry techniques.
In addition to responding to 27 calls for help and providing water supply services for the county fair, these training sessions reflect the dedication of the High Point Fire District volunteers to honing their skills and ensuring preparedness in various emergency scenarios.
