Two sets of Hurst Jaws of Life Delivered to Station 1
High Point Fire District is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of 2 sets of Hurst eHydraulic Jaws of Life, delivered by Toot Lee from MES. Each set includes a spreader, cutter, ram with extensions, 6 batteries, and 3 battery chargers. These battery-powered hydraulic rescue tools offer a more efficient solution by eliminating the need for an external hydraulic pump and hoses. This advancement not only reduces weight and compartment space but also allows for quicker deployment. High Point operates five engines, three of which are equipped as rescue engines. With the addition of these tools, all three of High Point's rescue engines are now equipped eHydraulic Jaws of Life, enhancing the District's rescue capabilities.
