High Point Fire District responded to a brush fire on Edisto St. Engine 11 arrived on the scene to find a brush fire approximately 50 feet from a residential structure. Firefighters deployed a hose line from Engine 11 and extinguished the flames. To further mitigate the risk of reignition, the surrounding area was thoroughly wet down. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
